Castle Cary Pipes and Drums

Victoria, BC, Canada

Named after Victoria's original Government House, Castle Cary Pipes and Drums was formed as an independent band in 1989. Wearing the red Fraser tartan, the band competes at the grade three level in highland games throughout the Pacific Northwest. Members also compete individually from grades four through one. Every year the band performs in many community events throughout the Victoria area and takes pride in its ability to serve the community.

The band is also dedicated to teaching new pipers and drummers, and currently has students that are just starting from scratch. No matter what your age or skill level, we welcome you to come down to one of our practices to meet the band and find out what you need to get started.

Great News! The band is pleased to announce that it has a new drumming instructor who welcomes dedicated individuals who would like to learn the drums. If you are interested, please visit our contact page and get in touch with Rob Miller.

What can Castle Cary do for you???

Castle Cary can turn an ordinary event into a unique and special occasion. We are a non-profit organization that has many years of experience performing at a wide variety of venues. We enjoy performing for our community and welcome the opportunity to turn your event into a special occasion. Also, if you don't require the whole band for your event, we can arrange for a solo piper to come out and play for you.

If you want more than an ordinary event, then perhaps Castle Cary Pipes & Drums is the answer. If you would like more information about what Castle Cary can do for you, please contact Rob Miller (please see the contact page).
